In Volume 1 he scolds Ms. Chevreuse for falling asleep whilst guarding the room containing the Staff of Destruction[1]. In Volume 2 he is challenged to see who's magic is stronger by Kirche, only to blast her fireball out of the sky with a gust of wind[2].
