Gallia (ガリア Garia), or the Kingdom of Gallia (ガリア王国), is the largest kingdom in Halkeginia.
Geography
Gallia is located in the southeast of the continent and thus to the southeast of Tristain.[1] It shares a border with Germania, the region of Aldera, a land covered with deep forests located five days on foot from Lutèce, with the forest bordering Germania commonly referred to as the "Black Forest" by both countries.[2] It also shares an eastern border with the Sahara,[3] with its territory being the theater of several past conflicts over it with the elves.[4][5] To the south of Gallia are the Fire Dragon Mountains, nicknamed "Gallia's Spine",[6] the mountain range running from north to south that forms its border with Romalia.[6][7]
It is the most populous country in Halkeginia, with a population of more than 15 million citizens.[8] It is also the largest country in Halkeginia,[9] ten times larger than Tristain,[1] as well as one of the oldest kingdoms in Halkeginia.[10]
The royal capital is called Lutèce, but the royal palace is in Versailles.
The blue rose, because of its color reminding of the blue hair of the royals, is seen as the symbol of Gallia, after which it has been nicknamed "La Gallia".[11]
History
Within the Gallian royal family, murders and assassination attempts have led to an unstable royalty. In addition, there's a law that states if twins are born in the royal family one of the twins must die to prevent power struggles for the throne.[12] This is reflected on Gallia's crest, and this the crest of the royal family, of "Two staves, one crown", below which is inscribed the motto “Go Further”.[1][13][10]
Gallia is the only nation mentioned so far that has "black ops" organizations in their service, and regularly hires mercenaries to do jobs.

Etymology
The name "Gallia" was the Latin term for Gaul, a region in western Europe encompassing present-day France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and parts of Switzerland, Germany, and Northern Italy. As such, Gallia is most similar to and modeled on France, although it also seems to occupy where Iberia should be as well.
