General Field Marshal Olivier de Poitiers is an officer of the Tristain Army, and the Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces during the Allied Invasion of Albion though his role is expanded upon in the light novels as he is only seen twice in the show. In the former he proves to be a capable leader as he manages to achieve several major allied victories while maintaining peace between his fellow commanders, Margrave of Handenburg commander of Germania's forces, and the Allied Chief of Staff Wimpffen. In the show though he only appears briefly in order to task Louise and Saito with the destruction of South Gotha's defenses. In the end, however, his fate is the same; he, and his fellow officers, all perish when South Gotha is attacked by rouge and Albion forces during Pentecost.
